Exodus 2:23-25
Providence of God
God acknowledged them in their trials….
1:6 we see all Jacob’s family is deceased
God is silent but not absent
God NEVER forgets or has a lapse in memory
He is always working for my good and HIS glory
For the Israelites, He is preparing them for His plans for their future
We should be vigilant in praying and petitioning Him
- Three(3) times Pharaoh tried to break them:
-
- made them slaves
-
- (they worked hard and grew in numbers)
-
- asked the midwives to kill the male born children
-
- (they refused)
-
- Pharaoh ordered the slaying of male infants 2 and under
-
- (caused his daughter to see and love Moses on sight)
-
- made them slaves
-
Even in this, He raised Moses up to lead His people to the promised land.
God will continue to take care us v.25
