Missions: Why?

“Go therefore and make disciples…” Matthew 28:19

For the next few weeks we will be looking at missions during our Monday mornings together. I hope you will pray about how God can use you to reach your neighbor and the world.

Why? Jesus says so. When we think of missions, often times we think of taking the Gospel to some foreign land.  However, missions and making disciples can be as simple as walking across the street. We have many in our neighborhoods today that are lost and separated from God. As a blood bought believer you have the hope of the world inside of you and Jesus expects you to share your experience with others. Begin each day by praying for opportunities to witness to the faith that is inside of you and then determine that today you will live out that faith by walking worthy of the calling God has placed on your life. Missions and making disciples are not optional, they are expected. God bless and may your week be a blessing.
